The Tennis Department is headed by Director Aleco Preovolos, a former 4-year All-American and Hall of Fame Inductee from the University of California, Davis. Aleco played and coached for over 18 years on the ATP Tour, and has four Grand Slam Doubles titles as a coach. He has coached former top ten-ranked singles players Amanda Coetzer and Wayne Ferriera, and helped Rick Leach and Ellis Ferreira to become the #1 ranked doubles in the world in 2000. Aleco's experience and work ethic has helped many Harbor Point members improve their games and rating levels time and again.

Newest to The Club is Dominican University assistant coach, Macall Andreas. Macall has played tennis for over 20 years. Born and raised in southern California, she competed on her high school and college team.  After graduating with a degree in Communications from Texas Christian University, she went directly onto the professional women's tour (WTA). She reached her highest singles ranking at 377 in the world and 222 in doubles. Macall is excited to join the great coaching staff at Harbor Point and work with the local players in Mill Valley.    

Former National Senior Champion Gordon Smith rounds out the teaching staff here at The Club at Harbor Point. Gordon has over 20 years teaching experience at all levels of play, as well as many years playing experience at the local and national level.  Gordon is available for private and group lessons.
