Leigh Claxton - Fitness Director

Leigh has worked in the outdoor and indoor recreation and fitness industries as a professional athlete, coach and instructor for more than 25 years. As the director here at Harbor Point, she brings a wealth of experience and knowledge, having directed many Group Exercise and Yoga programs over the years

In addition to a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, she holds certificates and licenses’ in multiple disciplines of indoor cycling, Yoga, Personal Training and Pilates. Her focus in training has been endurance athletes and Head Injury rehabilitation. She has led both Mountain Biking and Trail Running classes on Mt Tam since 1995. In early 2000, Leigh began infusing more yoga into her workouts. Using Yoga for her own lengthening and recovery as an athlete, she expanded her yoga studies spending a month in Costa Rica at the Nosara Institute there, and then did 200 and 500 hour Anusara trainings in addition to Yin and Yoga for Athletes in the past decade.

She developed several Balance Class mediums as a result. She has been teaching Balance Dynamic Classes in Marin since early 2010. She is the founder and instigator of OnBoardSUP Yoga and the “SUP Yoga” trend.


LouAnne Harris

Certifications & Personal Training Background

LouAnne is a nationally certified personal trainer with over a decade of experience helping clients reach their goals and discover the potential beyond them. She is also a certified SUP and Kayak instructor, adventurer, and racer. Her training philosophy stems from her background in outdoor recreation, dance, and movement. She believes that training should be just as enjoyable as it is challenging, and working from a strong functional foundation of posture, alignment, and mobility, helps her clients build towards their goals. LouAnne is teaching our Cardio Fit Class on Thursday mornings, teaching swim lessons and Personal Training both single and duet sessions.


Leonie LaPoint

Personal Training Background

Leonie is an Elite Trainer and has 10 years experience in personal training and coaching as well as teaching group exercise such as cycle classes, small and large group exercise and HIIT classes.

Growing up in Holland she enjoyed gymnastics, jiu-jitsu, competitive swimming, cycling and playing volleyball. Currently she is part of an outrigger canoe club in Marin, she loves to SUP, hike, ride her road bike and tennis has become a new passion.

When she inspired a friend to lose a tremendous amount of weight and saw her life transform from a morbid obese to a healthy, exercising individual, she realized she needed to make fitness her profession. She made the choice to become a personal trainer and never once regretted that decision. What makes her special is her non-stop enthusiasm and her passion to help people.
Her goal is to empower and inspire people, to help them live healthy, vibrant lives, to enable them to perform everyday activities with ease, strength and without pain, by implementing a safe, effective and functional training program.


Tom Rosencrantz

Personal Training Background
Tom is adept at helping people reach their goals, no matter the level and how challenging the goal. He is skilled with sport-specific training, helping individuals improve at their desired sport: golf, tennis, cycling, running, triathlons and swimming. He is a National Caliber Age Group Mountain Bike Racer.
